Go on, get back to nature!
Mexican food is super cheap to make. Grab some corn chips, beans, cheese, taco kits or whatever takes your fancy and put on a spread for your pals. Ask them to bring along some mexican beers or sangria and you’ve got yourself a party. Or, for a quiet night in, hire out some of your favourite mexican-inspired movies and eat your feast in front of the TV. Somberro not optional.
Everyone loves karaoke. It’s such a great night out that involves plenty of high notes and lots of laughs. If karaoke isn’t your thing, maybe try going to your local open mic night. It’s a cheap way to watch live music!
There are a HEAP of places you can volunteer your time in Australia. Pick something that interests you and bring your friends along. If you’re lucky, you might get to hang out with puppies for a day at your local animal shelter.
Esky full of food and drinks? Check! Ultimate driving playlist? Check! Best friend in the passenger seat? Check! Go exploring! Pick a town in the middle of nowhere and go there. Have a picnic, have a drink with the locals, stay the night in a tent perhaps?
Get each of your friends to bring over a cake ingredient and see who can make the ugliest cake.
Message all your friends who play an instrument and get everyone round for some lazy sunday tunes. You never know, you might end up discovering some local homegrown talent.
Head over to your local tennis courts or basketball hoops and hold a day-long tournament. Bring some tunes, outrageous sporting outfits and may the best man or woman win.
